The weekend is here, so unwind and catch up on some of the upcoming movies and shows as a lot is released recently on OTT platforms. Nothing is more relaxing than staying in and binge-watching all day. Here's a list of television shows and films that we have carefully chosen to make your weekend better.

The Midnight Club - October 7

This Netflix original series, which also stars Adia, Igdy Rigney, Ruth Codd, Aya Furukawa, and Annarah Cymone, will debut on October 7, 2022.  This horror mystery-thriller series by Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong is based on Christopher Pike's book of the same name. It follows a group of seven patients at Rotterdam Home Hospice who are near death. After one of them passes away, they begin to gather at odd hours to swap spooky tales.

Derry Girls Season 3

The third season of this show, starring Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Louisa Harland, Nicola Coughlan, Jamie-Lee O'Donnell, and Dylan Llewellyn, will premiere on Netflix on October 7, 2022. This Irish teen sitcom, which Michael Lennox directed, debuted in 2018. The show centres on Erin Quinn, who attends a Catholic girls' secondary school with her cousin and pals and navigates her way through adolescence.

Grey's Anatomy Season 19

The 19th season of this drama, which also stars Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Kevin McKidd, and Caterina Scorsone, premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on October 6, 2022. This medical drama, which Shonda Rhimes created, debuted in 2005. Throughout the season, the show explores the struggles and triumphs of aspiring surgeons.

This film which stars Madhuri Dixit, Barkha Singh, Malhar Thakar, Sheeba Chaddha, and Simone Singh, was made available on Amazon Prime Videos on October 6, 2022. The comedy-drama film, directed by Anand Tiwari, centres on the middle-aged housewife Pallavi Patil. Her tranquil existence is, however, disturbed by a video and a rumour.

Hasan Minhaj: The King's Jester

This one-hour Netflix production, which features Hassan Minhaj premiered on Netflix on October 4, 2022. This comedy program, which Prashanth Venkataramanujam directs, involves a comic who expresses his opinions on various subjects, such as infertility, parenting, and freedom of speech.

Lal Singh Chadha

This official remake of the 1994 Hollywood movie Forrest Gump is finally on Netflix. Advait Chandan directed Lal Singh Chadha stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor  Khan and Naga Chaitanya in the lead roles. While the film gathered mixed reviews on release, you can now decide for yourself.
