Prateek Wisteria celebrates Diwali mela after 2 years

After two years of strict COVID lockdown, Diwali mela was organised and celebrated in the Prateek Wisteria Society in Noida, Sector-77 on October 21, 2022. Residents celebrated the event with food, shopping, dance and more.

More than six hundred of the society's residents took part in the celebration and programs that were organized. The event started around 6:30 in the evening and lasted till 10 at night. There were special dance performances such as Garba and various games organized for kids and adults. Some society children also burnt green crackers on the occasion.

The cultural team of Prateek Wisteria, in association with Atrangi ( event management company), coordinated the event. The Prateek Wisteria AOA (PWAOA) cultural committee says that the club as well as the society were fully illuminated and conducted amazing performances.

Nitesh Ranjan, the AOA President of Prateek Wisteria, says, "Celebrating Diwali after 2 years in the society with dance, games, and food, along with friends and family, was so welcoming and refreshing. It is good to have life and festivals back to normalcy and I am wishing everyone a very happy Diwali."

Nikhil, an excecutive member of PWAOA says, "It was an immensely happy experience to have vibrant festive vibes in our society after almost 3 years. Enjoyed the Diwali Mela a lot with lots of music, dance, shopping, and cuisine with family and friends."

Anupam Verma, Treasurer of PWAOA, says, "After two years of COVID restrictions, people are very excited to celebrate Diwali this year. Our society has been completely decorated with lights."
