Delhi Traffic Police issues advisory in view of India International Trade Fair

New Delhi: Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of the 41st India International Trade Fair. The trade fair has started today November 14, 2022, and will go on till November 27, 2022. Delhi Traffic Police has mentioned the roads where there is a possibility of congestion in some of the major areas in Delhi. Some of these are Mathura Road, Bhairo Marg, Ring Road, Shershah Road, and Purana Qila Road.

The advisory issued by the Delhi Police states that a right turn is not allowed on Mathura Road to Bhagwan Das Road and Subramaniam Bharti Marg. Passengers have been asked to avoid travelling from W Point to Mathura Road Subramaniam Bharti Marg crossing by Bhairon Marg, Purana Kilo Road, Shershah Road, and Mathura Road.

The India International Trade Fair, held in Delhi, is exclusively open for business visitors from November 14 to November 18, 2022. From November 19 to 27, the fair will be open to the general public. Entry of visitors will be prohibited from gate number 5-A and 5-B. On the other hand, people will be given entry from Gate numbers 01, 04, 10, 11, and Crafts Museum Gate. Entry will be closed for common people after 6 pm.

Moreover, instructions have been given regarding tickets in the fair that tickets will not be sold at Pragati Maidan. Tickets for the trade fair will be sold online and at select metro stations. Parking of vehicles will not be allowed on Mathura Road and Bhairon Marg. No vehicles are allowed to park on Shershah Road, Purana Qila Road, Bhagwan Das Road, and Tilak Marg. If vehicles are found parked in non-parking areas, they will be towed and the pulled vehicle will be parked in the parking lot of the National Stadium.
