The new sensation in the world of OTT is Netflix's new release 'Wednesday'. With breaking all the viewership records, it received 341.23 million hours of viewing time, which means it holds the record for 'the most hours viewed in a week for an English-language TV series on Netflix'. This record was previously held by Stranger Things Season 4, which had 286.7 million hours of viewing in its first week. Well, if you also watched and liked Wednesday, we have more shows for you that you may like-
This is a spin off of The Vampire Diaries, which aired on the CW for four seasons. Hope Mikaelson is a half-vampire, half-werewolf, and half-witch who starts attending the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted, which is, you guessed it, a boarding school for supernatural teens who don't fit in anywhere else. Danielle Rose Russell plays Hope Mikaelson on Legacies. If you're interested in setting a school for werewolves and vampires, check it out.
Jack Morton, played by Jake Manley, is a new student at Belgrave University, where he discovers intrigue, danger, and romance while discovering the school's mystical mysteries in yet another supernatural adolescent show on Netflix. It will do the trick if you want to watch another show about a magical school without leaving Netflix because the pupils here are a little older, the budget is less, and the tone is more serious (though there is still plenty of fun).
The Midnight Club
The Midnight Club, based on the Christopher Pike young adult novel, centres on Ilonka (Iman Benson), a Stanford-bound high school senior whose plans are altered when she receives a diagnosis of terminal thyroid cancer. Spencer (William Chris Sumpter), Natsuki (Aya Furukawa), Kevin (Igby Rigney), Cheri (Adia), Sandra (Annarah Cymone), Amesh (Sauriyan Sapkota) and Anya are among the patients Ilonka befriends after deciding to stay at Brightcliffe, a hospice for teenagers (Ruth Codd). Ilonka comes across the other patients in the library telling scary stories one evening after hours as she wanders the ominous grounds. They go by the name of the Midnight Club, and you probably guessed that, but the mystery they get sucked into is so much more than just a tale.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
One might perceive Buffy Summers as a typical adolescent girl who is fixated on her appearance, hair, and boys if the two ever cross paths. However, Buffy is a chosen slayer of vampires and terrible supernatural creatures. Buffy tries to blend in and keep her slayer abilities a secret from most people.
Smallville offers a fresh perspective on a young Clark Kent who is still coming to terms with his identity after being discovered by his foster parents as a baby in a crashed alien spaceship. The show's ten seasons allowed us to see how Clark developed, discovered his abilities, and ultimately transformed into the Superman that most people are familiar with.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Based on the Archie Comics character, Sabrina is a half-witch, half-human who must embrace her witch side fully on her 16th birthday. This show's two seasons are available on Netflix.
