Bike rally to promote road safety organised in Dwarka

Dwarka: The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways is observing the National Road Safety Week from January 11th to 17th, 2023, under “Swachhata Pakhwada”, to propagate the cause of safer roads and compliance with safety regulations for all.

With the help of the Road Safety Unit of Delhi Traffic Police, a bike rally was organized in Dwarka on Friday, Jan 13, 2023. The rally was flagged off by ACP Traffic Dwarka, Jaswant Singh and ACP Dwarka Police, M.L.Meena at 11:30am from Sec 10 MLU and culminated at Vegas Mall, Sec 14. A street play was performed by artists at Vegas Mall Dwarka to increase awareness among people about traffic rules and road safety.

During the week, various activities are being organised throughout the country to create awareness among the general public and to give all stakeholders an opportunity to contribute to the cause of road safety. This includes various awareness campaigns related to the causes of road accidents and measures to prevent them.
