Greater Noida West: The residents of Devika Gold Homes Housing Society organised a candle march against the builder on the issue of lacking civic amenities in the society on Monday (February 2023). They said that the subject had been discussed several times with the representatives of the builder, but still, the problems were existing.

Residents of the society alleged that despite paying regular monthly charges for cleanliness and security arrangements they were suffering on the subject.

Deepak Dubey, a resident of the society says, “There is neither a sufficient number of CCTV cameras in society nor is there a proper facility to monitor them. Society is also lacking a fire-fighting system. The residents of the society have complained verbally and in writing to the builder several times, but he is not solving the problems of the society. So finally we showed our plight through candle march.”

During the candle march, it was said by the residents that the builder had promised the buyers of the flats in writing to provide proper sanitation facilities in the society, an adequate number of CCTV cameras, deployment of security guards, and club facilities with fire extinguishers, but the builder had not kept his promise for last three years.
