The Greater Noida authority is taking significant steps to improve cleanliness in the city in preparation for the upcoming G20 summit in Delhi on September 9th and 10th. In a recent meeting with health department officials, ACEO Medha Rupam emphasized the importance of ensuring that hygiene teams working on the ground empty public dustbins placed in various locations throughout the city. Rupam also directed officials to identify areas where garbage cans are not present and place new ones in those locations.
To further address the issue of waste management, the Greater Noida authority has hired an agency to provide door-to-door garbage collection services in 95 sectors and 124 villages of the city. The service will cover not only residential and commercial areas but also slaughterhouses.
