The "NDMC G-20 Flower Festival" on the theme of "Colour and Vibrancy" was inaugurated today by Bhupender Yadav, the Union Cabinet Minister of Labour and Employment, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of India at Central Park, Connaught Place, New Delhi. The festival, which runs for two days, features different varieties of G20 countries' flowers displayed in various forms and installations, as well as different flower plants showcasing the diversity of the Indian Sub-continent.

During the inauguration, Yadav appreciated the efforts of NDMC in organizing the flower festival and urged the people of the metropolitan city to plant flowers in their surroundings to beautify the place and add joy to their lives. The Chairperson of NDMC, Amit Yadav, also addressed the audience, stating that nature smiles through the flowers and that people can feel the joy of smiling nature to beautify their inner soul.

The festival also includes the display of paintings and photographs of flowers such as national flowers or major flower gardens of G20 member countries and guest countries. Additionally, a painting competition has been organized at the site for school children on the theme of flowers.

The festival will be open to the general public from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with free entry from the gate opposite D Block. Visitors can also purchase their favourite plants and flowers from various stalls. This festival is a great opportunity for the people of Delhi to come and experience the blossoming nature at the flower festival.
