Dwarka: Pet lovers in Delhi can now bid a graceful and dignified farewell to their furry friends as the Municipal Corporation is building a dedicated cremation ground for pets in Dwarka Sector 29. According to sources, the cremation ground is expected to be ready in the coming months. This will be the first-of-its-kind cremation ground exclusively for pets in Delhi.

Deputy Commissioner of Najafgarh Zone, MCD, Pradeep Kumar, has informed us that the work on the cremation ground is in its final stage and gas pipeline works are currently in progress. The facility will offer several amenities for pet owners, including a priest, cremation materials, and proper rituals for pets to be cremated. DC Pradeep Kumar emphasized that pet owners are deeply connected with their pets and want their last rights to be performed as if they were family members. The cremation ground will serve that purpose fully.
