Greater Noida: Hundreds of homebuyers gathered at Ekmurti in Greater Noida West for the 19th consecutive Sunday to protest against their long-standing housing problems.
The homebuyers wrote their problems on postcards addressed to the chief minister. Those who have not received their houses even after waiting for 13 years wrote about their problems.
The homebuyers expressed their disappointment that even after 18 weeks of protests, the government has not done anything. He wondered why they are still not getting the houses they paid for.
They also said, "If the government can solve this problem. We have also made proposals to the chief minister. He also made promises, but nothing has happened so far. The entanglement between the authority and the construction company has brought the home buyers onto the street.”
Buyers from several societies joined the movement. All agreed that the the movement will continue until the registration of the houses starts and the issues are not addressed.
