New Sub-registrar Office in GRENO WEST Eases Workload

Greater Noida: A new sub-registrar office has been set up in Dadri to cover the areas of Greater Noida West. The move came after the notification from the state government was released on March 28.

With the opening of this new sub-registrar office, Gautam Budh Nagar now has seven sub-registrar offices. This new sub-registrar’s office comprises 11 villages, including Aimnabad, Ithaira, Chipyana Khurd, Roza Yakubpur, Roza Jalalpur, Patwari, Bisrakh Jalalpur, Shahberi, Haldoni, Jalpura and Sadullapur.

An official of the registration department said the new sub-registrar office  became operational from the same campus near Dadri 1 office. It will share the workload with the existing sub-registrar office in Dadri, which registers around fifty thousand properties. This office reported 52,060 properties in 2022–2023, compared to the previous year’s 45,187 properties.

The governor has created a new sub-registrar office in Dadri-2 of the district Gautam Budh Nagar by excluding the areas of revenue villages given in Schedule A. It was implemented from the date of publication of the notification in the gazette.

Shubham Sinha, a resident of Greater Noida West, said that it was a pioneering move by the UP government that benefited the residents. With this, it will be easier for residents to register their properties with the new office. Previously, residents had to wait because of the workload in the office.
