Gautam Buddha University organised the 'Food Without Fire' competition

The Education and Training Department of Gautam Buddha University organised a "Food Without Fire" competition on April 28, 2023, where B. Ed students participated enthusiastically. The participants demonstrated a variety of dishes prepared without the use of fire.

The program was a part of the new education policy which talks about organising such activities in addition to the curriculum. This is to help students develop the qualities of mutual cooperation, creativity, responsibility, equality, etc., and respect diversity.

The Dean of the school Prof. Bandana Pandey was present as the chief guest in the program. As a special guest, the head of the language department, Dr Omprakash was also present.

Dr. Mamta Rai and Dr. Kalpana Paswan, spokesperson of the History Department in the role of the jury, not only inspected the dishes but also tasted them.

Team 4 (Puneet, Shabnam, Sonia, Pooja, Monika) won the competition, and Team 1 (Aarti, Neha, Sakshi, Nishu, Abhishek, Akshansh) is in the second position.

The program ended with a speech by special guest Dr. Omprakash.
