Ghaziabad: The indefinite protest staged by residents of Saviour Park Society, Ghaziabad, entered its 38th day on Saturday. But, to the residents’ woes, neither the administration nor the Ghaziabad Development Authority gives two hoots about it.
Sandeep Verma, a resident of the Saviour Park Society, said, “No one from the authority came forward to resolve our issues despite carrying out a protest for over a month. The builder is not yet ready to talk with us.”
Amit Chowdhary, the President of the AOA of the Saviour Park Society in Ghaziabad, expressed his displeasure towards the inaction by the administration and the builder. He said, “Now they will intensify our protest and get it done, and our picketing will continue until our demands are fulfilled.”
Kanchan Arora, AOA vice president of the Saviour Park Society, said, “Neither the problem of dogs has been resolved nor the work on the boundary wall has been done. We won’t lose hope and will continue to stand firm until our demands are fulfilled.” She further requested the residents and the AOAs of other areas to join them in the protest.
