Noida: With the rise in temperature, the water crisis has hit Noida, Sector 19. Moreover, the weak pressure is resulting in poor water supply.
Residents of Sector 19 have been facing severe problems with the drinking water supply for quite some time. Presently, the water supply in sector 19 is encountering a severe issue of low pressure, which neither reaches the first floor nor the overhead tanks of sectors. The supply time has been shortened by more than 50 percent.
According to RC Gupta, the president of RWA in sector 19, the area has been experiencing a water crisis for the past few days. Despite repeated complaints to the authorities and senior officers, nothing has happened. He said, “Water is an essential requirement in summer. Residents of the sector are highly agitated over the issue. They requested Ritu Maheshwari, CEO of the Noida Authority, to look into the matter personally and arrange to restore the normal supply immediately.”
