If you are fond of flowers, here’s some good news for you. The much-awaited Noida flower show, a three-day event, is scheduled to begin at the  Noida stadium in Sector 21A on February 24.

The flower show is an annual event organised by Noida Authority in association with Floriculture Society of Noida, an association of nature lovers. Deepak Agarwal, the chief executive officer of Noida Authority, will be inaugurating the event.

This will be the 31st consecutive year in which the organisers will give nature lovers a platform to showcase their skills of landscaping and nurturing flowers and organic vegetables.

The show will have 75 competitions, such as gardening, landscaping, Rangoli-making, vertical garden and flower arrangement. Marigold is the theme flower of the year.

The show will have organic products on display and organisers will arrange 84 stalls for exhibitors. Every year the show attracts a large number of nature lovers from across the NCR. The number of participants in 2017 is expected to be about 7,500.
