Supertech Capetown, Noida: Why pay for a community event!

Residents of Supertech Capetown, a housing complex in Sector 74, Noida, have given a written complaint to NP Singh, district magistrate of Gautam Buddh Nagar, on March 5. The residents want to organise a Hasya Kavi Sammelan on March 12 on the society premises, but the builder is demanding money for it.

Shailendra Baranwal, a resident, complained, “The builder has already taken Rs 1-4 lakh for club membership. We are organising a community function — and the builder wants money again! We spoke to other societies too about the matter. The builder can charge money only if it’s a personal function — not for a society event."

He added, “The builder has some audacity — he said that we are free organise any function outside the gates of the society.”

When City Spidey tried to contact Raj Kumar, head of facilities at Supertech Capetown, he was not available for comments.
