The school organised the adventure camp to inculcate team spirit and enhance life skills among students.
Suncity World School, Sector 54, Gurgaon, organised an adventure camp in its premises on April 7.
The camp was a befitting conclusion to a hectic academic session. Centered on the theme Joie de vivre or “Joy of Living,” students from grades I to XII participated in the camp.
A plethora of activities such as bungee jumping, rappelling, commando net, Burma bridge, commando crawl, hopscotch, Tarzan swing, and zorbing, kept the students enthralled. The lawn was dotted with colourful tents and sleeping bags that were set up by students.
The camp continued till night. Students also learned how to make the fire pit for a bonfire without spoiling the grass. Dining under the stars amidst songs and games was the icing on the cake.
Rupa Chakravarty, principal of the school, told City Spidey, “We are delighted at the enthusiasm shown by students. The aim of the camp was to enhance life skills, inculcate team spirit and help them understand the interdependence with Nature.”
