If you were passing by Jalvayu Vihar yesterday, chances are that you would have heard hearty guffaws from the society.
That's because the society organised a laughter yoga camp at its community centre in Sector 21 from 7 am to 9 am. The camp was conducted by Dr Ashok Sahni, a specialist in the field. More than 150 people from Jalvayu Vihar, sectors 15, 28, 30 and 100, and children from Sai School in Sector 21 took part in the camp.
Commander Narinder Mahajan, a member of the laughter yoga club, told City Spidey, “We are a group of more than 100 members from all across Noida. We have been meeting for 30 minutes every morning at the Jalvayu Vihar park for the past three months.”
“This form of yoga is a combination of laughter exercises and deep yogic breathing, which not only increases the flow of oxygen to the brain, but also makes one feel rejuvenated,” Dr Sahni said.
