Come January 1, 2016, schools and industries are not the only ones that will follow the new guidelines for timings and weekly offs. With traffic, noise and air pollution at an all time high, the Noida administration has gone a step ahead to issue directives for a change in the weekly off day for shops and commercial centres as well. The new schedule is as follows.
Closed on Mondays
Shops and business establishment in sectors 1, 3, 15, 16, 57, 68, 80, 90, Baraula, Nithari, Morna and Naya Bans.
Closed on Tuesdays
Shops and business establishment in sectors 2, 4, 18, 22, 23, 37, 41, 50, 58, 69, 81, 89, Bishanpura, Chhalera and Sadarpur
Closed on Wednesdays
Markets in sectors 5, 7, 27, 28, 29, 59, 67, 83, 88, 110, Harola, Atta and Bhangel
Closed on Thursdays
Shops in sectors 6, 60, 66, 84 and Mamura
Closed on Fridays
Shops and markets in sectors 8, 51, 53, 61, 65, 85, Gijhor and Hoshiarpur
Closed on Saturdays
Business establishments in sectors 10, 62, 64 and 87
