Noida rally educates commuters about traffic rules

About 100 volunteers participated in a rally conducted by the traffic police of Noida to raise awareness among commuters about traffic rules. The rally was conducted from Sector 24 to gate no 4 of Noida Stadium.

It was conducted with support from Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC), a fashion technology institute in New Delhi, and Noida Apparel Export Cluster (NAEC), a Noida based organisation.

Volunteers of ATDC and NAEC along with the traffic police personnel tried to educate commuters about traffic rules and told them the meaning of red, orange and green signals of traffic. The volunteers also asked commuters to never break traffic rules and told them that breaking the rules increases chances of accidents.

Layak Singh, traffic inspector of Noida, told City Spidey, “More than two people on two-wheelers and driving of vehicles by those below 18 years of age are a violation of traffic rules.”
