Get your friends together and grab a set in your favourite bar for a special screening of one of the most-awaited cricket clashes. Are you ready to win, people?
So what if you are not at The Oval for the final match of one of the most-awaited cricket clashes — the India vs Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy final. There’ll be public screenings at various places in Gurgaon, including Cyber Hub, Sector 29 and One Horizon Centre.
Here’s more.
There’ll be complimentary shots for first 10 wickets of Team Pakistan — and, of course, complimentary shots for everyone present if India wins.
Manvi Chaudhary, director of Pier 38, said, “Cricket is a sport loved by all age groups, and it’s more exciting when your country is playing. We will be screening the match, as the demand for it has been coming since a month. The restaurant is offering a round of shots every time India hits a six or takes a wicket. There’s also a combo of 2+1 on select alcohol till the match is over.”
Walking Street in Sector 29 is offering complimentary shots for the first 10 people on each Pakistani wicket.
“We want our guests to enjoy the match along with their drinks. The match between India and Pakistan is not just a match on the screen — we are all playing on the pitch,” said Ashwani Choudhary, director of Walking Street by Soi 7 in Sector 29.
That’s not all! Prankster in Sector 29 is organising a small stadium-type seating and live dhol — calling it the Champions Dad Finals — and giving complimentary motichoor cheesecake to all dads and free shots to all guests if India wins.
Whisky Samba at One Horizon Centre in DLF Phase V has offered shots on the house if India wins.
Bristol Hotel has organised pool party for the cricket lovers from 3.30-8.30 pm.
