Fed up with Noida Authority’s lack of response, residents have decided to clean up the trenches outside the society on their own.

Residents of Exotica Fresco, a residential society in Sector 137, Noida, have decided to launch a cleaning drive on their own this Sunday.
What prompted such a measure? Complete nonchalance on the part of Noida Authority’s sanitation department. Despite repeated complaints from residents, it did nothing!
Pramod Taragi, a resident of the society, said that he had lodged a complaint with Noida Authority, urging it to clean up the stagnating water in the sewer trenches outside the society. The department did not even respond to the complaint.
Taragi added, “We are being advised by the district health department to keep the surroundings clean to minimise chances of a viral-fever outbreak. But the authorities refuse to do their jobs. So we are getting down to the job ourselves.”
