To check the misuse of social-media platforms, Noida administration has made special arrangements. The war room of the GB Nagar DM is keeping a watch on account holders of social media . In case of objectionable or anti-social posts, officials will register a case against the culprit and initiate police action.

The bar room is closely monitoring online activities of people living in Noida, Greater Noida and GB Nagar.
Action can also be initiated against group admins.
Information officer Rakesh Chauhan said, “The decision has been taken by DM BN Singh to prevent individuals from spreading malicious content. If someone is aware of any such posts or updates, he or she can notify the administration, and action will be taken.”
Luv Kumar, the district's senior superintendent of police, added, “If two people are discussing something objectionable on the group and it’s the first time, they will be warned. But if they continue with it, action will be initiated, depending on the nature of the post.”
