The Uttar Pradesh government has asked the Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna authorities to prepare a report on the number of potholes on roads after June 15. BN Singh, district magistrate of Gautam Budh Nagar, has issued a notice to all the three authorities about this.

Noida Authority, on its part, has asked all circle project engineers to prepare a report on the matter. All reports are to be submitted to the government by October 31.

The Yogi Adityanath-led state government had earlier set a June 15 deadline to make all roads in the state pothole-free. The government has now decided to take stock of the matter.

Along with main roads, the report, to be sent to the PWD, will also include residential, institutional and industrial areas.
