After being asked to take up additional charge as the VC of Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA), Ritu Maheshwari, district magistrate of Ghaziabad, deputed Amit Pal, joint magistrate of the district administration, for the management of GDA.
According to the order, the affiliation of the joint magistrate to the GDA is applied with immediate effect.
Uday Bhanu Tripathi, special secretary, department of appointment and personnel, had asked Ritu Maheshwari to take up the additional responsibility in a letter on Wednesday.
