According to Anit Kumar, a circle officer at the Ecotech-3 police station, a case has been registered against the accused on the basis of a complaint filed by the girl's family members. He added that action was being taken against Narender.
According to sources, the victim's family hails from Azamgarh and lives in a rented house in Kulesara village.
