Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Hindon elevated road on Friday. The road comes as a blessing for residents of Raj Nagar Extension who can now experience a smooth ride to and from Delhi. They can now easily cover an hour-long journey in barely 18 minutes.
City Spidey’s team took a round trip on the road on Friday, clocking it at just 19 minutes.
The road is the longest flyway in India to be built on 228 single-pier pillars. Further, it has been built at a cost of Rs. 1,147 crores. Drivers will have to however maintain an average speed of 80 kms per hour on it. Moreover, first aid paramedics and crane services will always be present on the road for 24 hours.
