Many resident welfare associations (RWA) in Gurgaon have decided to felicitate the students who have done well in the board examinations this year. They have plans to celebrate the good show of students as it will encourage them to do well in future as well.

The RWAs of sectors 3, 5 and 6 have already plans for felicitating the meritorious students who have got more than 85 per cent marks in the board examinations. The RWAs have already asked for marks of students living in the respective societies.

Nilesh Tandon, president of the RWA, Fresco Apartments, Nirvana Country in Sector-50 said that the objective of the felicitation programme is to encourage and motivate the students to do well in future and bring laurels to their areas.

“Students of both class 10th and 11th who have done well will be felicitated so that children and their parents are motivated. This will energize the children and give them the impetus to perform well in the future. They will understand the importance of doing well for themselves as well as making their parents proud,” said Dinesh Vashisht, RWA president of sectors 3, 5 and 6.
