The blood thus collected will be donated to the blood bank for armed forces.
Rishabh Cloud 9 in Ahinsa Khand 2, Indirapuram, held a blood donation camp today. The blood will be donated to the blood banks for armed forces.
The event was organised by Trans-Hindon Welfare Club in collaboration with the Armed Forces Transfusion Centre on the society premises.
The event began at 8.30 am and was wrapped up by 1.30 pm
"The residents seemed quite enthusiastic about the event — this is their chance to do something. It feels good. The society will keep doing its bit in the sphere of social services,” said Sandeep Pandey, secretary of Cloud 9 AOA.
Around 53 units of blood was collected, Pandey informed.
"My wife and I donated blood as a mark of respect to our armed forces," said Rajesh Koshal, a resident.
“It's a noble cause and we’ll keep organising such camps. In fact, our club regularly organises welfare and social activities across the trans-Hindon area,”said Rajesh Vinayak, founder of the Trans Hindon Welfare Club.
