"There are over 40 flats that are yet to be sold out. Once they are sold, we will vacate the clubhouse," an official of the developer said.
Residents of Prateek Edifice, one of the beautiful high-rise apartments in Noida's Sector 107, have complained against the builder for occupying the clubhouse and converting it into a sales office.
People of the society call it totally 'unfair' on the part of builder and developer as they have paid to avail this facility at the time of booking their flats.
“It does not look good especially when residents come here to spend time and you get to see outsiders flocking for negotiation of sales and purchases,” a resident said.
Besides, residents allege the sales office was not inside the premises while the development work was going on. It was somewhere outside the clubhouse but that was demolished after the construction work got completed.
When City Spidey contacted one of the officials of the developer to know their views on this issue, he claimed, “It is just a handful of residents who have problem with this. They want to take over the entire society!”
“There are over 40 flats that are yet to be sold out. Once they are sold, we will vacate the clubhouse. The developer also has a share in the club. So, he has all the right to avail the facility,” the official concluded.
