Metro connectivity to Greater Noida will undoubtedly be a great convenience to the citizens. But, as they say, all good things come at a price. For residents of Gold Vista and Golf Gardenia Societies in Sector Alpha-II, the price is inconvenience.
The main road which was being used by them to enter and leave their societies has been closed due to construction work for the metro. Gaurav Goyal, a resident of Golf Gardenia Society, said, “As the road has been closed, we have to take a three-kilometre diversion instead of the shorter route we used to take to reach our society.”
Vikas Sharma, a resident of Golf Vista Society, shares his views. He said, “Ever since the construction of the metro track began in our locality, the main road has been barricaded.”
When City Spidey spoke to Metro Corporation engineer Dilip Kumar, he said that the road has been closed only for the time being and will be opened as soon as the construction of the metro track is completed.
