Taking a tough stand against the violators, the Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP), Gurugram has instructed the officials concerned to initiate action and lodge FIR against those property dealers and landowners indulged in illegal construction across the city.

During the meet, director of the Town and Country Planning, KM Pandurang reviewed the progress of building plans, occupation certificates, license cases and directed the District Town Planners (DTPs) to settle matters in a time-bound manner emphasising that the Change of Land Use (CLU) is allowed only for 45 days, hence there should be timeline.
The application of CLU is to be followed within the time limit so that the public processes are easy to scale. He also directed the Senior Town Planner (STP) circle for appropriate monitoring and vigilance in the respective district area.
The director of the department also reviewed the proposal for land transfer of the green belt, division of sectors, and 18-meter road and 24-meter road sector roads.
DTCP also expressed dissatisfaction with the laxity shown by the officers and emphasised the adoption of e-business / CM Window complaint cell in order to speed up the settlement.
Pandurang further instructed the District Town Planners to propagate the residential colony/scheme to the general public and persuade them to not be involved in unauthorised construction. He also said that the review meeting will be held every month in this regard.
The director, while concluding, instructed the DTPs to coordinate with the deputy commissioner and police administration for the smooth operation of the demolition drive.
