Kids along with their parents from Rayz International Preschool carried out sapling plantation drive out of the school premises in Sector 19, Noida for a greener environment. The drive started with plantation where kids, their parents and teachers from the school planted 100 saplings.
To create awareness about saving the environment, the school arranged a stage programme in which kids performed traditional folk dance and drama based on the concept of Save Environment and Save Earth. Divya Foundation, an NGO, helped the kids in their performances. There was a special Nukkad Natak performance by the volunteers of Environmentalist Shail Mathur.
Dr S Kumar, Chairperson of the school and Jasmin Kumar, Vice Chaiperson of the school were also present at the event. They encouraged the children to save natural resources. The high point of the event were stalls of plastic free Indian flags made of seed paper which were put up by the children of Divya Foundation.
