GDA organised a drive with an aim to plant more than 1 lakh plants in all the eight zones it governs in the city.
To mark the occasion of 77th century of Quit India Movement, the state government is planning to create a world record by planting 22 crore saplings in a day. To make it happen, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched ‘Vriksharopan Mahakumbh' –a mega greenery drive on Friday.
Following the same line, the Ghaziabad Development Authority organised a drive with an aim to plant more than 1 lakh plants in all the eight zones it governs in the city.
