Residents of Greater Noida celebrated Independence Day with full charm. They unfurled the national flag in their residential premises. Many prominent faces gave speeches, while the children performed cultural activities.

Children seemed very happy while celebrating Independence Day. They even chanted slogans like ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, ‘Jai Hind’ etc. There was double happiness for children because Rakshabandhan is also being celebrated on the same day.

Every residential society in Greater Noida, RWAs, police stations, government offices, schools and others celebrated the Independence Day in a traditional way by singing national anthem and distributing sweets and greeting each other.

At some places, young people were seen marching holding national flag in their hands. Some residential societies invited every member of their society including cleaning staff and security staff, while some honoured senior citizens of their society.
