Noida Industrial Development Authority in association with office bearers of residents welfare association and residents on Sunday conducted a massive cleanliness drive in three different residential sectors in the city.

Ritu Maheshwari, Chief Executive Officer of Noida Authority, along with officials and residents from Sector 14 carried out cleanliness drive in a park. Several residents joined them to pick up the waste littered in the park. During the drive, residents along with officers took oath for taking out 100 hours in a year for maintaining cleanliness in their sector. The residents were also asked to sensitise 100 other residents for the same.

Residents of Sector 14 expressed happiness on CEO's visit to their sector. They said that she is the only one who took a round to their sector and even joined them in cleaning the sector. They said that they hope that many of their problems related to civic issues will be solved.

Besides encouraging residents for maintaining cleanliness and waste segregation at source, Maheshwari distributed cleaning kits to several residents of the sector.

Another drive was conducted in Sector 18 and Sector 46, which was led by officials from health and other departments. During the drive, officials identified civic issues in these sectors and assured the residents that their problems will be resolved shortly.
