Police make parking stickers mandatory at societies in GreNo West

Greater Noida: In the wake of the rising crime in the city, the police sent instructions to the societies to ensure pasting of parking stickers on all the vehicles in Greater Noida West.

Following this, the security management of several societies have been placing notices asking the owners of the vehicles to seek a parking sticker. This includes two-wheeler, three-wheeler, and other vehicles parked in the society and even those which have been lying unused.

A few days ago, the builders and managers of the societies were served an advisory by the Station House Officer (SHO), Bisrakh, to provide a list of the number of vehicles that have been parked in the society without stickers.

The notices that are being placed in the societies mentioned that the owner is required to register the vehicles in the maintenance office and take the parking sticker before November 22, after which, vehicles without stickers will be handed over to Bisrakh police station.

Manoj Pathak, SHO Bisrakh said that the advisory was sent asking the societies to provide a list of vehicles including the ones which are parked outside.

Talking to CitySpidey, Anita Prajapati, a resident of Gaur City 6th Avenue said, “The residents should support this initiative, it will help to strengthen the security of our society. If all the vehicles will have stickers, it will be easier to identify an outside vehicle.”
