Greater Noida: Alert resident brings heaps of garbage in light; requests action
Greater Noida: An alert resident, Harendra Bhati, on Tuesday wrote a letter to the Chief Executive Officer of Greater Noida Authority apprising him about heaps of garbage near Omaxe NRI Mall at Pari Chowk in Greater Noida.
He also shared the photograph of the filth scattered near the mall. In the letter, he mentioned that the filth was created by Bikaner Sweets.
Bhati said that he talked to manager of the mall to request cleaning of garbage. “When I talked to the manager, he said that the responsibility to lift the garbage lies with the Greater Noida Authority.”
Citing this, Bhati has asked the authority to make arrangements to clean the grabage at the earliest as it was a potential health hazard to the residents living near to the spot.
Bhati further said, “I requested the officials of the authority to work in accordance of the Prime Minister's cleanliness campaign.”
“I request the CEO to look into the matter and take strict action against the management of mall,” he wrote in the letter.
