Residents of Mahagun Moderne, Sector 78, Noida, on Sunday observed a mass prayer for 9-year-old Aditya Wardhan, who fell into the society swimming pool on June 29. He is said to be in a critical condition and on ventilation at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
Residents also went on a protest march inside the society compound against the negligence of the society's maintenance staff.
Shishir Tiwari, a resident, told City Spidey that residents of the apartment assembled in large numbers to pray for Aditya to get well soon.
He said that despite lifeguards being present at the swimming pool, they had failed to notice that Aditya was struggling in the water.
