Noida: The Noida Industrial Development Authority opened a gym in a public park at Sector 110 on Saturday. The gym was inaugurated by Surendra Nagar, member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Ritu Maheshwari, chief executive officer of Noida Industrial Development authority.
Speaking on the occasion, Maheshwari said that the facility would help people maintain their physical fitness. She also said that the authority was considering developing more such parks in the city.
At the inauguration, waste disposal kits were distributed among the residents of the sector for segregation of kitchen waste. The residents were educated on maintenance of cleanliness to improve ranking of the city in Swacch Survekshan.
