GreNo West flat owners call for authority's attention

Noida Extension Flat Owners' Welfare Association (NEFOWA), in a meeting with Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO) of Greater Noida Authority, KK Gupta, on Wednesday sought immediate attention of the authority to various issues of the newly emerging residential hub in Greater Noida West.

The association handed over a letter to the ACEO with the list of demands of residents including clearance of encroachment and illegal parking on service roads at malls locations for public gathering. 

The letter also raised the demand for streetlights, completion of service roads etc. The association, led by Abhisek Kumar, (president -NEFOWA), made an appeal to the ACEO to direct the concerned departments to pay heed to the residents' requests.

Kumar said, "We took up different issues for discussion with Mr Gupta. On some points, he had a discussion in detail, accepting the need for developments in the Greater Noida West area. We are assured that the concerned departments would be directed to look into our grievances."

The association pointed out that the 130 wide service road in front of Gaur City Mall has turned into a parking zone making it inconvenient for the residents living in the area. Traffic police barrier restricting traffic movement on the service road at one end forces motorists to park their vehicles there.

It also complained about the non-existence of service roads in sector 16 Greater Noida west in front of Ajnara Le garden, Nirla Aspire. They alleged that the entire service road is encroached upon by building developers.

Demand for installation of streetlights at various locations, such as at Hindon bridge near Kisan Chowk and at Bishrakh sector 1 on an urgent basis was also raised. Streetlights are also required on the service road of NH-24 link road in sector 1 and Techzone 4, between Green Arch and Galaxy Vega in Techzone 4 side among other places.

In another letter, it requested the Greater Noida Authority to complete the road between Techzone 4 to Sector 2. It informed the authority that complete stretch remains unused as a small portion of lane is left incomplete.
