GreNo Authority developing app for residents’ complaints

Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) announced development of a mobile application for residents to file their complaints. The authority said that the app would be launched in the next 2-3 months. 

As per the authority, once the app is launched, people can file any complaint regarding different civic issues and the department will resolve it in a time-bound manner.

According to an official statement, the authority will use geo-tagging so that people can mark the location of the problem. The under-developed feature will also help the authority mark all empty and under-construction plots in its jurisdiction so that homebuyers can check the actual status of their projects.

"This application will be facilitated by Geographic Information System (GIS) which will provide information regarding all plots and properties in its jurisdiction," a press statement issued by the Greater Noida Authority read.
