Metro stations were closed due to the protest against Citizenship Amendment Act.

Delhi metro reopens gates of 18 stations, two still closed

New Delhi: Of the 20 metro stations, whose entry and exit gates were closed on Thursday morning in view of the on-going protest against Citizenship Amendment Act, the Delhi Metro has opened the gates of 18 metro stations. 

The stations where entry and exit gates have been opened are Rajiv Chowk, Vishwavidyalaya, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan and Lok Kalyan Marg, Chandni Chowk, Barakhamba, Mandi House, Pragati Maidan, Lal Quila, Jama Masjid, Delhi Gate, ITO, Janpath, Khan Market, Vasant Vihar and Munirka.

However, the gates of Jamia Millia Islamia and and Jasola Vihar- Shaheen Bagh are still closed.
