New Delhi: The national capital region on Friday evening experienced strong earthquake tremors. At most of the places, people vacated the building to safeguard themselves.
As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the earthquake measured 6.3 on Richter Scale in Afghanistan.
The tremors were felt at 5.09 pm across Delhi-NCR and other areas of north India.
The epicentre was in the Hindu Kush mountains 246 km north by northeast of Kabul.
The IMD stated that the depth of the earthquake was 190 km.
