Gurugram: To strengthen the security ahead of the Republic Day, the district administration of Gurugram on Monday issued directions to all the cyber cafe owners to maintain a record of every user along with their identity proof.

Security has been beefed up all across the city to ensure the safety of the people. 

Deputy Commissioner Amit Khatri has directed the owners of all cyber cafes to make a record of all the persons who visit their premises with their full details. Along with this, it was directed that they should also keep a copy of their identity card with them.

He has instructed all the PGs, guest houses, hotel owners and the residents to keep a complete record in the register of all the people residing in their premises with their full details and copy of identity card. He also advised for proper tenant verification.

Armed licensees were also restricted to carry their weapons at public places till January 26. Along with this, the use of drones, micro light aircraft, glider, power glider, hot air balloon, kite flying and Chinese micro light were banned on January 26 in the district.
