Noida: A blood donation camp held at club house of Prateek Laurel, a high rise in Sector 120 here on the Republic Day’s eve was a big draw. Several people, including residents, security guards, housekeeping staffs turned up at the camp.
The camp was organised by Purbahno, a Bengali socio-cultural organisation, in association with apartment owner association (AOA).
Each donor was offered nutritional refreshment and a donor certificate to obtain one bottle of blood from blood bank, in any emergency, along with a mug and a certificate of appreciation.
Sudeshna Mandal, a resident of the society who organised the camp, said that Purbahno has set an example for other societies and organisations to stand up for such a noble cause.
