New Delhi: A massive fire broke out at a wood warehouse in South West Delhi’s Aya Nagar. Luckily, no casualty was reported.
Around six fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames. More details are awaited.
Last week on Monday, a huge fire broke out at Delhi Transport Department office near Civil Lines metro station. Though no one was injured in the incident, all the documents related to the department went up in flames. Furniture and electronic equipments were too damaged in the fire.
It was suspected that a short circuit in an electrical appliance in the server room caused the fire.
Earlier this month, a burning battery factory building collapsed in Delhi’s Peeragarhi industrial area near Paschim Vihar in which at least 14 people, including 13 firefighters, were injured.
A firefighter lost his life during the firefighting operations in the factory.
