Noida: 7x welfare team requests NMRC's MD to improve connectivity

Noida: A group of residents, belonging to 7x welfare team, on Monday wrote to Ritu Maheshwari, Managing Director with Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC), suggesting measures to improve connectivity from residential localities to enhance ridership further.

In a letter addressed to her, residents said that steps should be taken to connect two metro stations of two different routes at Sector 51. They said that works for developing a connecting foot-over bridge should be started at the earliest possible.

Further, they said that steps should be taken for making smart cycle pick up point nearby a park developed recently in Sector 78. This would enable residents of different residential societies like Antriksh Golf View-I and II, Assotech Windsor Court, Hyde Park and others to have easy access of the facility.

Residents also demanded city bus service from metro station at Sector 110 to 7x sector. They said that if the buses run from the above mentioned metro station to roads in the 7x sectors, it would be convenient for residents to enjoy the services.

They said that NMRC should also adopt best practices of DMRC for ticketing as well. It would help commuters to save their time while travelling by the Aqua Line.
