Noida: Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar reported 89 fresh cases of coronavirus, taking the district tally to 3,347, while two more persons succumbed to the disease, the official data showed on Saturday.
The district’s overall number of deaths linked to Covid-19 counted to 33, the health bulletin said.
The district’s number of active cases now dropped to 918, the data showed. 175 patients have been discharged during the last 24 hours taking the district tally to 2,396. The district’s recovery rate rose to 71.58 per cent on Saturday, it said.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh reported 1,403 new cases and 25 deaths during the 24 hours period. The state tally of active cases stands at 11,490, while 22689 patients have been discharged. Covid-19 fatalities in the state now reached 913.
The state overall recovery rate stood at 64.65 per cent, according to the data.
