Gurugram: Gurugram recorded 147 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Monday, pushing the district’s cumulative tally to 13,468, according to the district health department.

The district’s death toll rose to 139 as two more persons succumbed to the deadly infection in the last 24 hours period, the health bulletin said.

As many as 149 patients have been recovered during the 24 hours period, taking the district’s overall recoveries to 11,647 with a recovery rate of 86.47 per cent. It was 86.31 per cent on Sunday, 87.26 per cent on Saturday, 88.18 per cent on Friday, 88.81 per cent on Thursday, 89.60 per cent on Wednesday, and 90.25 per cent on Tuesday, according to the statistics.

The number of active cases counted to 1,682, slightly down from 1,686 on Sunday. It was 1520 on Saturday, 1,372 on Friday, 1,265 on Thursday, 1,145 on Wednesday and 1,048 on Tuesday, as per the data.

Of the total active cases, 28 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals, while 155 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres. 27 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 1,472 patients are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, Haryana recorded 2,224 fresh cases, taking the state’s total infection tally to 78,773, while the death toll counted to 829 as 23 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours.

The state’s overall recoveries counted to 61,611, while the total number of active cases stood at 16,333.

The state’s recovery rate counted to 78.21 per cent, while the Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 6.01 per cent. The fatality rate stood at 1.05 per cent. The state’s doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 31 days.
